Skyler Veazey joins CPEP as new Regulatory and Technical Director

CPEP is pleased to announce that Skyler Veazey will join the team as Regulatory and Technical Director.

Having spent the last 15 years in the food industry, specifically in the high-paced Cannabis sector, Skyler brings with her a wealth of experience gained in one of Canada’s most highly regulated sectors.  She has knowledge of regulatory and policy development environments, compliance and enforcement, health and safety, quality assurance and control, product labeling and innovation. She is also familiar with procurement and supply chain issues.

Having worked in production plants, she is familiar with industrial settings while having also served in numerous science advisory capacities.

She is a strong communicator used to working with teams from industry, government and relevant agencies. She holds an MBA in Food and Agri-Business Management from the University of Guelph and a B.Sc. in Food Science from McGill.  She is also bilingual.
